Different types of synthetic fibers
Because many factories and brands sell fiber under the wrong name, it is important to know what you are buying.
At Dreads&Frutsels we have had a lot of work over time to find honest manufacturers, and to source and label all fibers as what they really are. Below you will find a summary of the types of fibers you will encounter.
Keep in mind that not all fiber types will be available from the start, and a lot of attention will be paid to a wider range in the near future.

Dreadlocks can be found in many shapes and sizes, and you will find different types of hair in my range.
Each type of hair gives a different dreadlock, and there is a lot of variation in that.
I personally love to mix and match between this variety, to create the most beautiful and real dreadlock for me.
Some considerations you can make when ordering hair are for example;
- do you want a stiff or soft dreadlock?
- do you want a dreadlock with with long loose ends at the bottom, or not.?
- Are you going to braid the hair, or are you just using it for dreadlocks?
-Do you want to be able to steam (seal) the hair?

Each type of hair provides a different look.
The following points are described for each type of hair fiber in the webshop
number of grams
length
material
type coarse or soft to the touch
